EMERGENCE OF BS-VI TECHNOLOGY IN HONDA

Recently, Honda introduced the BS-IV compliant two-wheelers in India with the addition of brand new designs and additional characteristics.

As Honda is one of India's most famous two-wheeler brands with over 17.5 lakh scooters sold in the year 2017. With the implementation of BS-IV emission regulations from 1st April 2017, by the government, Honda has now introduced the BS-IV version of two-wheelers.

Honda has always been one of the most stylish brands in the market. To retain this image, Honda took the BS-IV update opportunity to give a certain definition to its vehicles by adding new options, designs and modern aesthetics.

With the update to BS-IV, Honda has now launched special edition for Activa and CB Shine with BS-VI technology.

As per the reports, Honda has claimed that the BS6-compliant version of the all-new Activa has been the end product of all new technological up-gradations. The all new- Activa now features the Programmed Fuel Injection and the Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology that optimises energy output by maximizing efficient combustion.

Honda has also added few adjustments to the inlet port and made a compact combustion chamber in comparison to previous one. In comparison to the BS4- complaint two-wheeler, the BS6-complaint version provides more fuel efficiency though certain technical requirements which are yet to be disclosed by the company.
